My passion is seasonal food prepared simply, using classic techniques. When cooking with the finest ingredients available, very little is needed to make food taste its best. I became fascinated with the culinary arts when I moved to California many years ago. I found that the quality and selection of product here is far better than anywhere else I had traveled. This led me into the fine restaurants I was lucky enough to work in and get inspired by. From there it took years of long, rewarding hours of cooking to be able to bring to you the experiences of some of the finest restaurants in the world.
Peter Hall has been one of Napa Valley’s most beloved chefs for over 25 years. Having trained in the storied kitchens of Tra Vigne and Mustards Grill, and as executive chef of Stars Café in Oakville and Piatti in Yountville, Peter was already a local culinary fixture by the time he struck out as an independent chef over 10 years ago.
